That's right, in 15 or so days, we start into November. And as you may or may not know, November is the National Novel Writing Month where you are challenged to write about one topic/plot (no random short stories
) for a month and (hopefully) reach 50,000 words. Along with you are tons or other people, racking their nerves, drinking their coffee, slaving day after day to make some semblence of story into a great piece of understandable literature. And for what? Well mostly for satisfaction. It's very fun to be able to say that, "Hell, I sat down for a month and I struggled and I put my sweat and blood into this thing, and now it's done!" (and it makes a great excuse to party!". Second off, I really like to write. Writing is so fun to be able to put some random ideas onto paper is a way that people want to know what comes next and see what you have to say. Some people do get their works published but that isn't the reason for doing this. Don't do this so that you can get money or get something published (although that might also be another very good goal to have). If anyones interested, www.nanowrimo.org is where you can sign up (the fourms are alot of fun, people over the US and Canda orgonize parties before and after to have a little fun and meet some new people). I can only pray that I haven't just cursed the next month of your life =D
I'm not quite sure what I'll be writing about yet but I think I'll be posting parts of my story on here for you all to see.
